JNN Design is a sole proprietorship company (Dutch eenmanszaak) based in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Providing services worldwide, our company offers a broad range of solutions for visual communication, from creatives for digital ads to video editing.

About the founder

Jessica Naomi Nagasawa

Born in Japan and raised in Brazil, Jessica Naomi was always inside a mix of cultural life experiences. Always fascinated with arts, stationary, and books, she grew up in a creative family - she was only 6 years old when she had her first experience with CorelDraw.

Throughout her early career, she worked in various roles such as software developer, sales representative, temple guide, and middle school coach. With those, she developed a generalist skillset that aims to solve problems, with great attention to detail, a proactivity mentality, and an organizational growth mindset.

She graduated in Design with an emphasis in Visual Communication and has worked in the creative field since 2014. While working in an Ads Agency, she was coached by her fellow bosses and coworkers, learning important lessons about graphic design in various media, both physical and digital. Among her roles in this field, she has developed a deep knowledge of Adobe Creative tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects. She also knows about digital marketing such as SEO, SEM, and CMS.

Her partner got a position in the Netherlands and she relocated to accompany him, being captivated by the country since then. While JNN Design is her main work, she also likes to participate in other projects, working part-time around Maastricht. Jessica Naomi speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish. She’s now focused on learning Dutch and has some background speaking a bit of Japanese and German with her family and friends. In her spare time, she likes to play games, photograph her cat, hang out with her friends in a restaurant, cook new recipes, camp and hike in forests, and listen to music. She often presents herself using either Jessica or Naomi which confuses people, but she doesn’t care which people use. You can always find her in Maastricht’s Vastelaovend with Segura! band. And as a good Brazilian, she makes a great coffee.
